Hi, I’m Andy
A proud Financial Independence (FI) achiever at the age of 35. My journey has been anything but traditional, and that’s exactly what I want to share with you.
After serving in the New Zealand Army and working in Government Security, I transitioned to a role in Cyber Security Awareness and Education for a large bank in Australia. However, during the global pandemic, I made the bold decision to move to Panama—a choice that marked the start of my journey toward redefining what financial freedom means.
Today, I pay my bills and grow my portfolio using options trading, while also buying digital assets and publishing books on Amazon through KDP.

What is Geo-Arbitrage?
Welcome to my first article on GeoArbitrage, the secret sauce for retiring decades earlier. My hope with these articles is to outline what GeoArbitrage is and more importantly how you can use it to rapidly speed up your Retirement or Freedom Day, in some cases by decades.
What is GeoArbitrage?
GeoArbitrage is the squishing together of two words.
“Geo” (geography) and
“Arbitrage” (taking advantage of price differences)
The basic principle: Earning in a high-income region or in a higher value currency and spending in a low-cost region or currency.
For instance, if you receive your US pension but decide to move to a lower cost country like Mexico, Thailand, Argentina or even Eastern Europe. There you can arbitrage the spending power of your strong currency and pension income to live a higher quality of life with more options than if you were to stay at home in the US.
