Hey folks!
If you’re new here: 60 Seconds to FIRE is about financial independence, early retirement, and geo-arbitrage, most of it funded by options income. Every month I write up exactly what happened in the trading account, wins and mistakes included. Subscribe if you want this landing in your inbox monthly, plus everything in between.

We were still finishing the road trip around Spain when September kicked off. It’s ridiculous how beautiful the north is. Honestly, I would move there tomorrow. In other life events, semester 2’s wrapping up at uni, and summer school’s already on the calendar. Because apparently a relaxing break over Christmas is overrated, I’ll be enjoying a festive meal or two in between accounting and economics assignments. Frothing for it lol.
Also ramping up hiking training. Building towards a 45-day trek through the Pyrénées next year, so stay tuned for articles about hiking in the future. Should I become a full-time hiker? Tell me what you think, would you want to read about that?
Oh yeah… and pet sitting for this little cutie the last few weeks.

September Trades
With just these four trades this month, I pulled in a cheeky $3,353 in premium between them. Last month’s win was remembering to check an earnings date before selling a PLTR call. This month one of them closed itself while I was at the park taking a wander.
I post every trade like this live in the Alpha Desk, my options trading Discord. First 14 days free: Learn to Trade Options
Right, the four trades.
September 9–25, 2026 BE (Bloom Energy) – Cash Secured Put, Opened and Closed
Strike: $250 / Duration: 37 days / Premium: $1,750 / CoCR: 7% in 37 days (69% pa)
Closed: September 25 at $3.49 / Banked: $1,401 of the $1,750
I set this one to close itself once it hit my target, then forgot about it. The Profit Take Order (PTO) filled while I was at the park, which is about as close to remote income as this whole thing gets.
September 10, 2026 SOXL – Cash Secured Put
Strike: $100 / Duration: 36 days / Premium: $815 / CoCR: 8.15% in 36 days (82.5% pa)
Another red day, so a good time for another SOXL put. Simple trade with a stock that sits in my experimental pot and has been a good income earner so far. It’s volatile enough that it makes a PTO essential. This one’s bouncy.
September 21, 2026 PLTR – Covered Call
Strike: $200 / Duration: 39 days / Premium: $485 / CoCR: 2.7% in 39 days (25% pa)
Same ticker that burned me back in July. This time I checked the calendar and took a longer contract length than the usual 30 days.
September 28, 2026 RKLB (Rocket Lab) – Cash Secured Put
Strike: $67 / Duration: 32 days / Premium: $303 / CoCR: 4.5% in 32 days (51% pa)
A new ticker for the account. Rocket Lab’s been on my watchlist for months, so the first red day gave me the entry. Let’s hope it keeps shooting to the moon and I’ll just make premium like the good little dairy farmer I am. See what I did there?

Trader Tip
Set a Profit Take Order the second you open a position.
I set mine around 75 to 80% of max profit on most trades. It means I bank the win automatically instead of babysitting a position that’s already done its job.
That’s Just These Four
$3,353 is what these four trades made. Nothing more, nothing hidden. The rest runs live in the Alpha Desk before I ever sit down to write any of this up.

The best trade this month was the one that just executed whilst I was walking in the park and listening to music. Less is more.
